Account Deletion

Last updated August 4, 2026

This page explains how to disconnect a calendar account from Elenna, how to delete your Elenna account, and what happens to your data when you do. Elenna is operated by Mapletask ("Service Provider").

Disconnect one calendar, keep your account

If you only want Elenna to stop reading a particular calendar account, you do not need to delete your Elenna account:

  1. Open Elenna and go to Settings
  2. Tap Accounts
  3. Choose the connected account and tap Disconnect

Disconnecting takes effect immediately. Elenna deletes the stored access tokens for that account and the copy of that account's calendars and events. Nothing is changed inside the provider's own calendar.

You can also revoke Elenna's access directly at the provider. For Google, open your Google Account permissions page, select Elenna, and choose Remove access.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your whole Elenna account is from within the app:

  1. Open Elenna and go to Settings
  2. Tap Account
  3. Tap Delete account
  4. Confirm the deletion

The deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

If you can no longer access the app (for example, you uninstalled it or lost access to your device), you can request account deletion by email:

  • Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Elenna account, with the subject line "Account deletion request"

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted:

  • Your account is permanently deactivated and can no longer be signed in to
  • Your email address is removed and replaced with an anonymized placeholder
  • Your password is deleted
  • Every connected calendar account is disconnected and its stored access tokens are deleted, so Elenna can no longer reach any provider on your behalf
  • The copy of your calendars, events, and calendar settings held on our servers is deleted
  • All of your active sessions are signed out and revoked

Uninstalling the app also removes the on-device database holding the local copy of your events.

What is retained

Events that Elenna wrote into your Google Calendar (or another connected provider) stay in that provider's calendar. They are your events, stored in your own account, and deleting your Elenna account does not reach into it to remove them. If you want them gone, delete them in that calendar — for Google, in Google Calendar.

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion itself, and any information we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires.

If you would like any remaining information erased as well, contact us at [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days.
