This privacy policy applies to the Elenna app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, desktop computers, and the web, that was created by Mapletask (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Elenna is a calendar client. It connects to calendar accounts that you already own — such as Google Calendar — and shows their events on one screen so you can read and edit them from any of your devices.
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
- The time spent on the Application
- The operating system you use on your device
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your device.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your email address, display name, and profile picture (optional). Because Elenna is a calendar service, the Service Provider also processes the calendar data you connect and create, including:
- The list of calendars in each account you connect, with their names and colours
- Your calendar settings, such as your time zone and the first day of your week
- Events in those calendars — title, description, location, start and end time, all-day flag, recurrence rule, and colour
- Events you create, move, resize, or delete in the Application
- The connection itself: which accounts you have connected, and the access tokens needed to keep them in sync
The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and product updates.
Google user data
When you connect a Google account, Google asks you to approve a specific, limited set of permissions. This is everything the Application requests, and the only reason it is requested:

The Application deliberately does not request the full calendar permission. As a result it cannot create, delete, or share a calendar, and cannot change who a calendar is shared with.
Limited Use
The Application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google user data is used only to provide and improve the calendar features described in this policy and visible in the Application
- Google user data is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to you
- Google user data is not used or transferred for serving advertisements, including retargeting or personalised advertising
- Google user data is not sold
- No humans read your Google user data, except with your explicit permission for a specific support request you raise, where it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or to comply with applicable law
You can revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting the account inside the Application.
Sign in with Apple
If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple sends the Application your Apple ID email address (or a private relay address, if you choose to hide your email) and, the first time only, your name. This is used to create and identify your account, exactly as an email sign-up would be. Apple does not share your calendar data with the Application.
Data Storage
Your events are stored locally on your device in an on-device database so the calendar opens instantly and remains usable when you are offline. To keep your calendars in sync across your phone, desktop, and the web, and to keep them in sync with the calendar providers you connect, your calendar data and the access tokens for your connected accounts are also stored securely on our servers. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to talk to the provider on your behalf.
Push Notifications
To deliver event reminders and notifications, the Application sends the minimum information necessary (such as a device token and a notification payload) to Apple Push Notification Service and Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's system settings.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
- Google Play Services
- Google Calendar API — the provider whose calendars you connect
- Apple Push Notification Service
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your device or via the application marketplace or network.
You can also stop the Application from reading a specific calendar account without deleting your Elenna account, by disconnecting that account in the Application (Settings → Accounts → Disconnect) or by revoking access from your Google Account permissions page. When you disconnect an account, the Application deletes its stored access tokens and the copy of that account's calendar data.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.
You can delete your account directly from the Application (Settings → Account → Delete account). When you do, we immediately deactivate your account, remove your login email and password, disconnect every connected calendar account and delete its stored access tokens, delete the copy of your calendar data held on our servers, and sign you out of all devices. Events that the Application wrote to your Google Calendar remain in your Google Calendar, because those events belong to you and live in your own account — deleting your Elenna account does not remove them, and you can delete them in Google Calendar yourself.

Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider ([email protected]) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains. Traffic between the Application and our servers, and between our servers and the calendar providers you connect, is encrypted in transit, and provider access tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of August 4, 2026.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
